Yesterday Was Our School Trip

Yesterday, we had a school trip, but I wasn’t happy at all.

At 8:30, we boarded the bus. We drove for about an hour to Yuen Long Tai Tong Organic Ecological Park. After getting off the bus, our teacher led us to a lawn. She said, “Class, it’s time to eat!” But it was only 10:00, and we still couldn’t eat our snacks or lunch.

When it was twelve o’clock, we finally left the lawn. We walked and walked. I saw students from other classes playing happily, but we could only stand and watch the big ostriches. They looked a bit ugly and scary. One student asked the teacher, “Why can other students play, but we can’t?” The teacher answered, “Because you don’t have parents with you.” But we noticed that those students didn’t have parents either, yet they were allowed to play. We felt very angry and unfair.

We were about to go back to school. I was really hungry, but we still weren’t allowed to eat. Luckily, we saw a fishpond, and the teacher finally let us go and look at the fish.

Finally, I got home. Dad cooked me a big bowl of noodles for lunch. While eating, I told Dad everything that happened. Dad got very angry too!
