My Unforgettable Birthday Trip

Three days ago was Wednesday, which was also my birthday. Although I still needed to go to school as usual, I felt pleasantly surprised and excited.

After school, Dad took me to Shenzhen to see Mom. Dad told me my birthday presents were inside the car, so we went to the car park to fetch them. To my delight, my gifts were a modern camera and a useful water bottle. I was so thrilled that I could not stop smiling.

As my older sister was attending a class, we waited for her patiently. Eventually, we found a charming restaurant that served traditional roast duck. Its skin was remarkably crispy and delicious!

After returning to the hotel, the friendly staff presented us with a large, fruit-flavored birthday cake. We used my new camera to capture these precious moments. Before we cut the cake, Dad asked me to make a wish while my family sang the birthday song together.

We also hired a professional photographer for a photo shoot the following day. After that, we explored a few other scenic places before returning to Hong Kong. I enjoyed this birthday trip immensely—it was truly the most unforgettable birthday I have ever had!
